This saw is designed for maximum rigidity and comfort. The frame is made of heat treated aluminum to eliminate flex while being the lightest frame on the market today.
Frame flex in other designs contributes to blade breakage. This saw has a 8" throat depth and uses standard 5 1/8" jewelers saw blades. Since the rigid frame cannot flex to set the blade tension during mounting; a unique tensioning system makes mounting the saw blade easy and without the usual dents in your sternum.
Clinical trials have shown that the color red promotes accuracy and so we've chosen this color for our saws. We've put all of the latest technology and design innovation into our saw. Nothing has been overlooked.
